Applying for a US Passport

US citizens can visit the State Department’s travel website at https://travel.state.gov/ or call the National Passport Information Center at (877) 487-2778 or TDD/TTY (888) 874-7793 for information about applying for a passport, renewing a passport, and other travel information.

Q: Do Clients pay extra to use your services?
A. For the most part, no. We get paid commission from our wholesalers so it’s a win/win situation. You get a great price and we still get paid! In some instances, such as air-only requests or research intensive trips, we may charge a service fee, but we would let you know upfront.

Q: Why should we book with you?
A. We have traveled extensively around the world and can provide first-hand experience with numerous destinations – a picture may look nice, but we can tell you how it actually is, with a competitive price. We get updates from various sources so we have the most up-to-date information on airlines, hotels and other travel related issues.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A. Yes – you pay a deposit to secure the package price (usually air in full, plus a small deposit on the hotel). Final payment is usually due about 60-75 days prior to travel. If you would like to call us once a month or every other week (or whatever works for you) – we are happy to process those payments as requested, as long as the full final balance is paid by its due date.

Q. How long have you been in business?
A. Since 1991, we have been creating tailor-made vacations and helping make clients travel dreams become a reality.

Q.What do I do after I pay my deposit?
A. After your deposit is paid, we will send you an invoice showing your itinerary and trip cost, what you’ve paid to date, and when your final is due. Upon final payment, we will receive your travel documents, check them over, and contact you when we have them ready, which is usually 2 – 3 weeks prior to travel. We keep your booking details within reach so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

Q. Why do I talk to multiple agents in your office?
A. We work as a team, so there is always someone to help with whatever you need. If one agent is out of the office, you don’t have to wait for them to return, as we all have access to what is happening with your trip and can assist with any questions you have.

Q. When is hurricane season in the Caribbean and Mexico?
A. Hurricane season starts in June and goes through November. Hawaii can also get hurricanes.

Q. Do you book honeymoons and destination weddings?
A. Absolutely! We specialize in putting together both honeymoon and destination weddings to suit your needs, wants and budget. We can help with other trips as well – whether it is a family reunion, weekend getaway, or month-long pilgrimage.

Q. Why do you ask for my passport information?
A. We need you to check it to make sure it doesn’t expire within six months of your return date and so you can tell us exactly how the names appear on them to meet TSA travel information requirements.

Q. If I find less expensive pricing on my own, will you match that price?
A. Absolutely! If you send us the complete booking details, who it’s booked with, the dates and price, we are able to get a price match so you can still work with our agency and get our expert advice.

Q. How do I get a passport?
A. You can apply at your local post office. You will need to get passport photos taken – usually your local Walgreens or drugstore can do this quickly and at a low cost.

Q. Can you get us extras?
A. In many cases, we know the owners, the general managers and sales representatives for the hotels, so we are more likely to have the possibility of getting VIP treatments or extra amenities for you.

Q. Can I add tours to my reservations?
A. Yes, we have vast resources of different tours you can purchase for many destinations, and we can seamlessly add them to your reservation.

Q. What if I change my mind?
A. We can set you up with insurance that allows you to cancel your booking for any reason. You would receive your money back or vouchers for a future trip, depending on the policy. Our agency charges a small $75 cancellation fee.
